More Than A Quarter Of CBD Consumers Are Recurring Customers

Traditionally, here’s a little CBD news:

A new market study by Acosta (VERY important guys) found that over a quarter of US consumers are currently using cannabidiol.

CBD has become a popular solution in recent years in a variety of everyday health problems and especially through understanding and approval in all age groups, how important it is to avoid using chemicals when there is a natural alternative.

The Acosta study states that the most popular reasons for taking CBD are joint pain (apparently the first thing that came to mind), general well-being, muscle aches, anxiety, sleep problems and headaches. Interestingly, 7% of respondents who bought CBD products for the first time followed a doctor’s recommendation.

Consumers tend to have a positive view of CBD products, despite some uncertainty. Fifty-five percent agreed with claiming that “CBD oil is a new miracle cure.”

Largely users of CBD products are Millennials (56%), male (48%), college graduates (49% have a bachelor’s degree). This is an easy hint of who to target.

The market potential for CBD products has sparked interest from large and small retailers, including the country’s largest supermarket operator The Kroger Co., as well as smaller chains like Dierbergs Markets, and online stores like Thrive. (There is also a tracker with the same title).

In June, Kroger confirmed plans to roll out CBD products to 945 stores in 17 states. Since then, that figure has grown to over 1,300 stores in 22 states including Kroger, Dillons, Fry’s, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Mariano, Pick ‘n Save, QFC, Smith and a bunch of other very popular but unknown stores.

According to Acosta report, one in ten cat or dog owners bought CBD products for their pets, and 52% made a purchase by veterinarian recommendations, mainly for the treatment of pain (29%), anxiety (32%) and general well-being. (29%). That is, good pet owners bought the cats and dogs grass so that they were calmer and did not disturb them.

The bot @cannabis_robot got a lot of questions about the ban and excise taxes on vaping. I can only say that my metrics have not improved or worsened at all, but for now I would not recommend ceasing advertising on them. Maybe many, on the contrary, will want to finally buy a vape before the price increases. If you still want to change the offer, pay attention to my top of tests, which is about the same now.

Market.

CBD sales are expected to reach $ 20 billion by 2024, which is more than current annual sales of chewing gum and mints put together!
